Our Favourite Post Workout Snacks

If you get a snack attack after your workout you're not alone! Try out our delicious and easy recipes for a satisfying snack. 

1. Apple and Peanut Butter

A favourite snack for those of all ages, just chop up an apple, dip it in peanut butter (our fave is Meridian Peanut Butter), and enjoy!

2.Hummus and Pita

Simple and delicious, this a classic post-workout snack, if you're feeling extra fancy you could even make your own hummus!

3.Protein Pancake

We love a snack that feels naughtier than it actually is, that's why these protein pancakes are perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth. Whisk 2 egg whites, 30g grams of protein powder, then add 100-gram banana and dark chocolate chips. Spray some fy lite into your heated pan and pour the mixture in, once the edges have started to crisp up, flip, heat on the other side and serve.

 4.Chia Banana Parfait

This is an easy and delicious snack with just a bit of prep. Combine one cup of milk (almond/soy/cashew) or yoghurt, and 1/4 cup chia seeds and leave to soak overnight. Add bananas and top with some granola for an added crunch!

5.Avo Toast

Call us what you want, but you can't beat a bit of avocado on toast! Avocado provides all the healthy fats you need to fill you up after a strenuous workout session, why not add a poached egg on top for an extra kick of delicious protein.
