Tikiboo Announces A New Partnership With Breast Cancer Now!

Posted on 01 January 2019

Tikiboo are delighted to partner with Breast Cancer Now, in a one-year partnership that will see the brand raise upwards of £20,000 for the charity.

Tikiboo, an award-winning brand that produces bright and colourful activewear with unwavering performance, has created a bespoke range of exclusive activewear – including sports bras, exercise vests and tops, and leggings. The exclusive collection can be found online on Tikiboo’s website from 4th February 2019 and will be available to purchase all year.

Breast cancer remains the most common cancer in the UK. Breast Cancer Now is the UK’s largest breast cancer charity, dedicated to funding research into this devastating disease. Each product in the new Tikiboo range will carry a minimum donation of 20% to Breast Cancer Now, to help fund vital breast cancer research as well as donating 10% from all proceeds of our current catalogue of pink products.

Faye and Daniel Jobbins, co-founders of Tikiboo and husband and wife team, said of the new partnership: “Breast cancer is a disease that has affected our loved ones, so not only is Breast Cancer Now a brilliant charity to work with, but it holds sentimental value for us too. We also pride ourselves on the relationships we have with our customers, and there are a lot of strong women in our Tikiboo community that have recovered from cancer and gone on to be superstars in their own right. For us, we also want to show support to these women, and we are confident that we will be able to surpass our aim of raising £20,000 in a year.”

Carrie Green, Assistant Director of Corporate Engagement and Partnerships at Breast Cancer Now, said: “We’re so grateful to the Tikiboo team for their fantastic support of Breast Cancer Now, and we’re excited to see the launch of this new product range which has been designed to raise money for the charity.

“Each year, around 55,000 women in the UK are diagnosed with breast cancer, and heartbreakingly, around 11,500 women lose their lives to the disease. We urgently need to invest in research to stop breast cancer taking the lives of those we love, and with the support of the Tikiboo team and their customers, the money raised through this partnership will help take us a step closer towards our ambition that by 2050, everyone who develops breast cancer will live – and live well.

Founded in 2014, Faye and Daniel have created a brand that celebrates being active, with unique and colourful activewear that ensures that the wearer always stands out from the crowd. The duo and their team handle everything in-house, which has meant that these new Breast Cancer Now designs have been mocked up and designed in the quirky design style that Tikiboo are known for.

Tikiboo will continue to add to the Breast Cancer Now range and will support the charity throughout the year.

The clothing range will be available to buy online from from 4th February (World Cancer Day) 2019 onwards.
